I love putting things where they don’t belong….ok get your heads out of the gutter! I mean musically. I’m a big fan of world music and all the different instruments, melodies, rhythmic styles and so forth which emanate from it. While tooling around one day, I had a brilliant idea. I had just bought David Guetta’s new album (which is amazing by the way) and was really vibing to the track he did with Kid Cudi. Out of nowhere, I just started adding various percussive elements as the track was playing and voila. I then added a Sitar melody on top which I think nicely compliments the tabla. I hope you guys enjoy this as well…but you have to do so with an open mind.
